Hey all! Here’s my contribution to this year’s @tf-bigbang. This fic accompanies art by @plasticroachearrings and a fic by @insecuriosity!

This fic took over 20k words, two drafts, and several weeks longer than my initial schedule to finalize. It was great working with my partners and with the community! I hope to be back next year!

Jazz is rather difficult to write. He's a showman and a social chameleon and that's enough to get by on, but it would be useful if he would pop into my head fully formed. In contrast, Prowl practically writes himself.

Metamorphosis ended up very similar to Exchange. I wanted Jazz to get some limelight because Kickoff was going to be Prowl's show. It's a good AU, it just didn't want to get written.

Kickoff is great. I was looking through my list of fic ideas for potential prompt matches and Referee!Prowl AU jumped out and grabbed me. Before now I've only ever written potential dialogue for it. I never planned on giving Referee!Prowl a sparkling, but I guess now Prowl and Jazz at the beginning of that AU have that to look forward to.
