Jazz is rather difficult to write. He's a showman and a social chameleon and that's enough to get by on, but it would be useful if he would pop into my head fully formed. In contrast, Prowl practically writes himself.
Metamorphosis ended up very similar to Exchange. I wanted Jazz to get some limelight because Kickoff was going to be Prowl's show. It's a good AU, it just didn't want to get written.
Kickoff is great. I was looking through my list of fic ideas for potential prompt matches and Referee!Prowl AU jumped out and grabbed me. Before now I've only ever written potential dialogue for it. I never planned on giving Referee!Prowl a sparkling, but I guess now Prowl and Jazz at the beginning of that AU have that to look forward to.
